Along with 19 other teachers from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, Murisa Habibić, Physics teacher at GSSST, had the opportunity to visit CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva. Murisa participated in CERN's first Bosnian teacher program. The aim of this program is to introduce BH teachers to current research on particle physics. CERN is known as the home of the largest particle accelerator in the world, as the birthplace of the Internet and as the lab where the existence of the so-called "God-particle" was confirmed.
Our teacher had the opportunity to see the largest particle detectors and antimatter factory, and speak to prominent experts from our region about current advances in physics. it was a wonderful opportunity to gain new experiences and knowledge, that she will share with our students.
